BIY was born in a moment where creativity was discovered and suppressed at the same time.

Believe in Yourself started as a side hobby, creating product with no one telling you what you can or cannot do. No limits, all creativity and storytelling from one of the most passionate story tellers you'll ever meet. Our first garment was a hoodie with handwritten messages all over. Even though it looked crazy (not in a good way), people started asking questions. From there, we created a throwback high school basketball short to pay homage to Newport News, VA (home) & after that is history.

From graphic tees to custom hand dyed cut & sew pieces, we love to create it all. The consumer experience is most important to us. Buying BIY is an experience in itself. We love to throw in easter eggs & "if you know you know" details into our work.

Our goal is to tell impactful stories through each garment, and give consumers pieces that they can confidently wear for any occasion
